TOTW Predictions - Week 38 on ufifa16coins

TOTW Predictions - Week 38 on ufifa16coinsWith EA seemingly reducing the TOTW back down to 18 players what I have decided to do is to still predict 23 but if it is 18 again to take the first 18 players predicted so the last 5 players will be the fringe players so to speak.

Last weeks score 10/18

Formation: 3-4-2-1 - Part one:

                                Part two:

TOTW Predictions - Week 38 on ufifa16coins

Óscar Pérez - GK - 70 OVR

I fully expect the keeper to be a gold one but seeing as it is almost impossible to make that call I will be going with two silver keepers. The first is veteran keeper Perez who was outstanding for Pachuca during their play off win against Monterrey. He claimed all the headlines and although he did not save the missed penalty he did make eight saves in total.

Raphaël Guerreiro - LB - 76 OVR

As is often the case in these international breaks we have another IF Guerreiro looking likely and the Portuguese LB will soon be level with Sigurdsson in terms of International IF's. Guerreiro scored a beautiful free-kick and created another goal during Portugal's comfortable 3-0 home win over the Norwegians.

John Brooks - CB - 76 OVR

This position could quite easily go to Zardes but with the lack of defensive options available to me I was always going to opt for the American CB. Brooks scored one of for goals which saw USA come away as 4-0 winners over Bolivia who are actually a half decent side.

Cristian Gamboa - RB - 74 OVR

I originally had Topal in this position but after the release of the Turkish leagues TOTS it makes him illegible for this side and thus instead I have opted for the Costa Rican defenders, Gamboa who scored once in a 2-1 win for the South American outlet.

Nolito - LM - 82 OVR

Nolito is part of the select few players of which were completely robbed of a TOTS. He rightfully so gets a call up to the Spanish national side and has made his case to start in the Euro's after scoring twice for them during a 3-1 home win against Bosnia

Juraj Kucka - CM - 76 OVR

Although it was a rather experimental German side it can still be classed as an upset with Slovakia coming out on top by three goals to one and because of that I expect there to be a Slovakian IF featuring in the side. I think that Kucka is the best option who scored one of the three goals.

Jaroslav Plašil - CM - 75 OVR

The Czech recorded an impressive 6-0 home win against Malta on Friday evening and although they made almost 11 subs at HT I still think that Plasil will be picking up an IF for his goal and assist.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan - CDM - 83 OVR

You wouldn't really associate hammerings with Armenia but it is exactly what they dealt on Sunday morning with a massive 7-1 win against Guatemala. Mkhitaryan was the stand out player with both three goals and three assists of which what looks like on paper to be a CDM position. Unbelievable really.

Dušan Tadić - RM - 79 OVR

One of the first international games to take place was Serbia against Cyprus and it was the hosts who came out on top as 2-1 winners. Tadic was involved in both of the hosts goals with both a goal and an assist.

Edinson Cavani - ST - 85 OVR

Another player of which was completely robbed of a TOTS is Cavani who was amongst the top goalscorers in the French top division. He occupied the lone striker role for Uruguay this weekend and managed to score twice for them in a 3-1 home win against Trinidad.

Nicolai Jørgensen - ST - 75 OVR

Jorgensen actually picked up his first IF during an international week and now looks set to pick up his SIF also in an international week. The Danish striker scored twice and set u[ another for his domestic side, Copenhagen during a 4-1 away win.

Luis Robles - GK - 71 OVR

Once again we saw a superb performances from NYRB striker BWP who scored all three of their goals in a 3-0 win. He can not be in this week though due to his inclusion in TOTW 37. Another player which stood out was goalkeeper, Robles who made a total of seven saves and saved a penalty to go alongside that. BWP will claim the headlines but Robles should also be mentioned.

Daniel Bocanegra- RB - 71 OVR

It has been quite the week for this Colombian RB. First of all he grabbed both a goal and an assist in his mid week game which would have been an awkward one to predict but then he went one better and scored two long range strikes to help his side to a 2-0 away won.

Pablo Andrés González - CAM - 72 OVR

This one is slightly awkward in more than one way seeing as it comes in a mid week play off fixture. If EA decide to take the game into consideration of which I believe that they should do there is no question about Gonzalez's spot in the side though after his hat trick helped Novara to progress with a 4-3 away win.

Nikos Karelis - CAM - 72 OVR

Once again this one comes from another play off game and similarly it was a hat trick from the CAM position. It was a game which the winner would confirm a spot in the Europa league from and it was Genk that took their chances with an impressive 5-1 win over Charleroi.

Martin Pusic - ST - 70 OVR

Another Danish league striker now and it comes for almost identical reasons after Pusic scored twice and assisted another in a 4-1 home win.

Adam Nemec - ST - 66 OVR

In an international week if a striker scores twice it is often the case that he is included and that is exactly what we have here after Nemec scored twice for Slovakia during a 3-1 home win over Georgia.

Ola Kamara - ST - 76 OVR

Once again it was another goal fest in the MLS and the Columbus - RSL game accounted for seven of those goals. It was Columbus which came out on top with four of those seven and Kamara scored three of those goals.

Maximiliano Velázquez - LB - 68 OVR

Lanus were unexpectedly named as Argentine champions with a convincing 4-0 win over San Lorenzo. LB Velazquez assisted two of the four goals and thus making him the best option from the game.

Mohamed Diamé - CM - 74 OVR

Hull secured their position in the premier league for next season with a closely fought 1-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday. It was Diame who scored the only goal of the game and what a goal it was. If he gets in I expect that it will be in the form of a hero.

Yevgen Konoplyanka - LM - 82 OVR

Ukraine played out a seven goal thriller away at Romania and with there only being a handful of Ukrainian players in the game it vastly narrows down the options available to us. Konoplyanka is the pick of the bunch with a goal and an assist but should it only be 18 again I honestly can't see him making it.

Magnus Wolff Eikrem - LM - 70 OVR

Malmo's striker was the best option from this match after scoring a hat trick but with him not being in the game it leaves the door open for their winger of which assisted three of the four goals they scored.

Stefanos Athanasiadis - ST - 75 OVR

Another league game now which is once again a play off game and Greek striker Athanasiadis scored both PAOK goals in their 2-0 win.
